very weak and not long lasting, sometimes don’t smell it barely an hour later, but i agree it’s a very well put together oud, but that’s not hard with oud of course, should have had more power and longevity

He does a sniff, mentions bergamot and oakmoss. I go too look up for official notes and indeed, there are bergamot and oakmoss notes inside 😂 This guy has a sense of smell like a dog 😮 Pro perfumer is pro!

After reading reviews of this on several sites I cannot believe that people wear this regularly, out and about. Apparently once it settles it is a sweet sweaty smell, but most can’t get through that first hour or two. This is what I’ve read, as I’ve never tried this, and even ELdO does not offer this as a sample.

I get a lot of 🍑 aroma. Definitely a fresh scent, perfect for warm weather.

Just returned my second bottle of Isola Blu which is apparently a rebranded Oligarch. The price point of Roja Parfums has created a cottage industry of fakes from Russia and China and I have to wonder why these houses don’t drop prices a bit to allow more people to buy. Most of these fakes list at half price and people who obviously would buy it at 200 something for Rojas name and packaging would rather part with that amount if it came direct from his website or dealers. Instead we’ve this off-color industry fleecing American companies like EBay. I’m really over this and settling for samples or dupes (most of which aren’t that bad).

My Favorite fragrance!! I have every formulation and they all are so fabulous.

The parfum is fantastic. This along with the aqua di gio Profumo solidified Armani as my favorite house. I’ve just recently purchased Rose D’Arabie from their Armani Privé line and it’s absolutely addictive.

Please review Black Sea by Lorenzo Pazzaglia! His story is pretty cool and I think you’ll like his 40% concentrations.

I'm in my forties and this was my signature scent for nearly a year. I never noticed the apple in it until I spent some time away from it and started getting more into fragrances, trying to pick out the different notes, and now that apple is clear as day. It is a very sweet and strong scent. Overspraying will clear out a room. Two to three sprays is plenty and would last easily 12 hours with enough projection that people around you could smell it (huge projection for the first couple hours), and as a skin scent it would last over 24 hours, even after a shower. On clothes it literally lasts weeks.

Would this be a chypre ?

I won’t ever forget this smell. Got given a sample of this from a magazine must have been back in the 90s when I was a kid. Smells always bring back memories and make you think of certain times and I’d love to smell this smell once again.

This is one of them scents that I used to love , but like 90% of designer fragrances, has been watered down to be nothing like the original. Putty these fragrance houses don’t water the price down with it.

Just looked at TF shop. Was thinking about getting one of his lovely summer fragrances, but my goodness they have went up in price! Who is actually paying $450.00 for 30ml of fragrance? Honestly I would pay that for ATH because I know it’s going to be an insanely nice fragrance that last 10+ hours, but most TF fragrances smell incredible for about 30 minutes and the whole experience is like 2.5 hours. Perfect for date night or hanging on the beach, others you gotta reapply and that 30-50ml bottle is gone before you know it.

I’ve just bought Virgin Island Water and it remains unopened. I took a sample in store and by the time I had gotten to the door it had gone - no trace of it whatsoever. I’m on my way to the store to change for Aventus and so thanks for your review. I just hope it has a longevity! 😉

Whats the difference with the pink bottle?

is that the new bottle though? I feel like Aaron is sort of like describing a painting by telling us about the chemicals in the paint, I don't know how useful that is. ....but also we can't smell it on RUclips so.... I guess? In my mind, it smells like Johnson's Baby Power extract.

This has considerable projection off my Scottish skin.

Great review Aaron, I love Encelade, probably my favourite from the house. The perfumer Quentin Bisch has done all the MAB fragrances and he definitely has a style that's recognisable.

this is a fav of mine! i think Herod is their best but this is a second for me... this is very classy and manly, very grown up and sophisticated. and much more wearable on any occasion where as Herod is more for special occasions and dates and such. thic could be worn to the office or whatever, its almost like a liniment or kinda aftershave balm vibe to it... iven kinda vintage first aid kit with the old liniment and smelling salts... i get that vibe a bit and it takes me back to my childhood...

Incredible human and incredible mind ❤ This is my favorite oriental fragrance on my husband. We’re in Canada so luckily we could find the Blu electrique version and I can confirm it has much better performance than the OG.
